How much is the discount?
We're finalising the schedule before launch. The current arrangement: a meaningful percentage off every plan, applied for the lifetime of the subscription. Email us with your eligibility proof and we'll quote you exactly. No haggling — the rate is the rate.
Does it apply to existing customers too?
Yes. Verify after you've already started a subscription and we credit your account back to the start of the cycle.
Can a school buy this for the whole faculty?
Yes — it's the most common path. The school admin signs up an org account, adds devices for every Mac on the faculty (and the student fleet, if students get school-issued MacBooks), and the discount applies across all of them. One invoice, one dashboard, one passphrase-recovery escrow.
What if I'm a student paying for myself?
Same discount. Sign up under your own account with your institutional email and the rate stays as long as you're enrolled. After graduation, your snapshots remain intact and the rate moves to standard pricing on the next renewal.
What about elementary or primary schools?
Individual elementary teachers absolutely qualify — lessons, gradebooks, and years of teaching resources are exactly the kind of work this exists for. Whole-school deployments to elementary fleets are uncommon because young students typically don't have personal devices to back up; if your school is the exception, write to us.
Does the discount apply to BYOS as well as macup Cloud?
Yes. Both tracks. The per-device licence is what's discounted; if you bring your own storage you still pay your storage vendor directly at their normal rate.
Can the discount stack with annual billing?
Yes. Annual saves 20% across the board; the EDU discount applies on top of the annual price.
